I'm back (have been for some time)

I last updated here at the end of advent, tired of all online doings and ready for a break - now winter and lent have passed and we are in the Easter liturgical time. The cycle of seasons has coursed in it's circuit almost half-round and now I feel like writing a little.
I've been making changes here and there (E'), nothing big as I recall aside from trying to refine and polish the devotions comprehensively - slow going. But maybe I've forgotten something check out the site and it's journal
Here in the real world I almost exclusively have been working on the "farm" resurrection project. Late winter soil fertility, plans, and studies, spring plantings, putting plans into place and the new and old chores of awakening land... and more and more studies. I confess I'm absurdly intrigued by soil life and their/its inner workings.
"Work" , ideas, and focus on design and building has all but ceased as has my hubristic notion of pondering, re-inventing and promulgating things deeper meaning, iconic, sacramental, cultural, (and twin idolatrous potential when left undeveloped and unsanctified). The two fields, studio and sacramentals are still quite apealling to me, it's just that ideas and inspiration have utterly dried up for some time there. Perhaps that's just the way of the seasons, though. Now is the time for planting seeds and making hay while the sun shines. Lord willing, there will be time enough later (and indoors) either staring into a fireplace, or working at a workbench to
come up with more there.
For now, expect mostly agricultural type posts (and those on rainy days)
